FAMILY TIES OF WESTCHESTER,Inc. is a grassroots parent support organization serving families of children with emotional,social and behavioral difficulties. It is founded on the premise that (families)children are best served in their own communities and access to family support should not be tied to any one agency or program.Family ties views parents as the "ultimate case managers"for their children.Through Family Ties,parents have access,when necessary,to the services of professional case managers who provide additional linkages and supports. Family ties recognizes parents as full partners in the planning and decision-making that impacts their life and assists them in keeping the child in the community.
