Healthfinder
Healthfinder is an award-winning Federal Web site for consumers, developed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services together with other Federal agencies.  Since 1997, Healthfinder has been recognized as a key resource for finding the best government and nonprofit health and human services information on the Internet.  Healthfinder links to carefully selected information and Web sites from over 1,500 health-related organizations.   

National Health Council
The council and its member organizations share a common objective: improving the health of all people, particularly those with chronic diseases and/or disabilities. Through communication, collaboration and consensus, the Council's member organizations -- representing all segments of the health care community -- work to achieve this important objective.

National Health Information Center
The National Health Information Center (NHIC) is a health information referral service. NHIC puts health professionals and consumers who have health questions in touch with those organizations that are best able to provide answers. NHIC was established in 1979 by the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (ODPHP), Office of Public Health and Science, Office of the Secretary, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
